Rain von Rennau is a beautiful 14 month old long haired sable German Shepherd mix with a beautiful longer sable coat. Rain is a sweet  boy who is affectionate and loving with his people, adores other gentle dogs (and needs another dog in the home), and has been great with young children.  Also housebroken and with good home and yard manners, he likes to follow his people around, and will settle nicely by your feet as you read or work. Per a prior home, he's "definitely a leaner and likes to rest his head in your hand." He will do best in a stable home with people who provide consistency and structure as well as kindness. A sensitive boy who takes a little time to settle into new environments, Rain warms up nicely and loves to get attention and be close to people. He's mid energy, eager to learn, both treat and praise motivated, and knows "sit," "lay down" and "wait." On the leash he continues to build confidence and walks nicely next to other dogs, preferring gentle dogs like himself.
